Graphic approach. Notice the value grouping. Jeans and jacket are one group, Knee pads and elbow pads and such are another. Skin is another. etc etc.

Like the previous example these depend on a solid line drawing. For those of you that are more on the drawing or line approach to design.

3D but such a great "page" or design rather. 

Note the rhythms of edges here. Also note that impressionist feel with that graphic feel. Beautiful.

Beautiful shift in value and color. I respect the control of saturation here. What is the most saturated color here. Color pick it and I bet you would find its not as saturated as you think it is.

Notice how much the body type is pushed here. Push your shapes.
